While Disaster recovery and Cyber security have overlap, there is a common misconception that they are the same. However, this is not true. Disaster Recovery Plans are in place to help recovery after attacks, or natural disasters. While Cyber security is in place to prevent these things from happening in the first place. Both work in together to help provide maximum protection.
